These brochures are an important source of information to the community and play a key role in letting people know what health services are available and how to access them.

Malcolm presents his first draft to his supervisor Robyn for feedback. Robyn informs Malcolm that the content, word and paragraph structure and well presented. However, she notes that he has used a lot of technical language that is not in compliance with the recommendations for health literacy appropriate material. Robyn also informs Malcolm that although his brochure looks lovely it will need to be redone in accordance with the organisational style guide. She shows him where the electronic templates are stored and how to use them.

Robyn explains that the style guide helps promote credibility and trust in the materials that are being produce because they all comply with the same documentation standards.
