Service models continue to change and improve so the person in receipt of services can maintain control over their own life. Even people who may be in the latter stages of dementia, or have an acquired brain injury, are encouraged to make decisions and choices about what they wish to participate in. How you interact with people with care needs has an impact on their health and wellbeing, as well as their overall quality of life.
